Randox Antrim Show is a qualifying show for the Martin Supplies “Show Herd of the Year 2023”.
1. Competition is open to fully paid-up members by the 1st February of the NI Blonde Cattle Club.
2. Competition will be judged on a points basis: 10 points awarded for the first Blonde animal presented at each show, followed by 5 points for the next two animals. Maximum points that can be awarded for turnout of cattle at any show are 20.
3. There are 12 shows throughout the year, points will be counted from 10 shows only. If more than 10 shows are attended by a competitor, the 10 best points totals will be added together for the final total.
4. You will only be awarded points for your TOP THREE PLACED BLONDE CATTLE at any Show. Pairs and Interbreed classes are not counted. Animals entered in multiple classes will only be awarded points for their highest place.
5. Points Awarded 5 points awarded for 1st placing, 4 points awarded for 2nd placing, 3 points awarded for 3rd placing, 2 points awarded for 4th placing, 1 point awarded for 5th placing. Champion will be awarded 2 points, Reserve Champion - 1 point.
6. Participating Shows: Balmoral, Lurgan, Ballymoney, Ballymena, Armagh, Newry, Omagh, Castlewellan, Saintfield, Randox Antrim Show, Clogher and Fermanagh.
7. Points will be allocated from shown animal(s) to the herd they are registered to on the Society database (either British or Irish) on the day of showing. It is the exhibitor’s responsibility to ensure the online database is correct.
Principal Livestock Sponsor FANE VALLEY award £50 to Champion and £30 to Reserve.
Classes with one entry will be amalgamated with the next appropriate class within the breed. Exhibitors will be notified on day of Show. No entry fees will be refunded should this occur.
